19. Mark the position of the diaphragm head (W) and the in-
termediate plate (X) with respect to the housing (A) with a
pencil mark.
20. For all pumps except .9 version:
Loosen the countersunk screw (D) and remove the re-
tainer plate (E) and the diaphragm (F).
21. For .9 version:
Use wrench for retainer plate to loosen the retainer plate
(E) counterclockwise; remove the retainer plate (E) and
the diaphragm (F).
22. Loosen the 4 cheese head screws (G) and remove the
cover (H).
23. Turn the flywheel (I) until connecting rod (K) is in the cen-
ter position.
24. Put on the new diaphragm (F).
25. For all pumps except .9 version:
Place the retainer plate (E) on the diaphragm (F) and
tighten it with the new countersunk screw (D) (tightening
torque: 5.0 Nm).
The self-locking countersunk screw (D) can only be used
once.
26. For .9 version:
Place the retainer plate (E) on the diaphragm (F) and
tighten it clockwise with the wrench for the retainer plate
(tightening torque: 5.0 Nm).
27. Place the intermediate plate (X) on the diaphragm (F) ac-
cording to the pencil marking on the housing.
28. Place the new valve plate (Z) on the intermediate plate (X)
(for alignment, see Fig. 6).
29. Place the diaphragm head (W) in the installation position
marked with a pencil and tighten the Allen screws (Y)
evenly crosswise (tightening torque: 5.5 Nm)
30. Check for smooth operation when turning the flywheel (I).
31. For two-headed pumps:
Perform work steps 3 to 14 on the second pump head.
32. Fasten the cover (H) with the 4 cheese head screws (G).
