AIR FILTER

To access the air filter, you must:
- Remove the seat (p.94).
- Remove the filter cover by removing the screws
The proper functioning of the engine and the
longevity of its internal components depend in part
on the cleanliness of the air filter. Be sure to replace
it as specified in the maintenance schedule on page
(p102), or more often if the vehicle is used
exclusively in city, dusty and off-road areas.
Make sure the filter is clean and free of foreign matter.
In case of excessive clogging, replace the air filter.
Make sure that the filter is correctly positioned when
reassembling it: the cut corner must be positioned
towards the rear-left side of the motorbike
Check the filter every time that the vehicle is
used in offf-road.
NOTE
If the filter is damaged, replace it immediately.
WARNING
During each cleaning, check that the filter housing does not contain
any foreign objects.
