CLEANING RECOMMENDATION
FOR THE NON-STERILISABLE
M.blue plus Instruments
NOTE
M.blue plus Instruments are made
from thermolabile components
that are sensitive to heat and
moisture as well as chemically
reactive. Do not immerse M.blue
plus Instruments in cleaning solu-
tions or allow liquids to enter the
housing, as this could impair the
functioning as a result of mois-
ture, corrosion and impurities.
Surface impurities on the M.blue plus
Instruments should always be removed
immediately after use by wiping with
alcohol-based detergents (minimum 75
% alcohol).
The exposure time should be at least
60 seconds and should be adapted to
the degree of contamination. The instru-
ments should then be wiped with a dry
cloth.
The following cleaning methods are
not suitable for preparation of the
M.blue plus Instruments (apart from
M.blue Check-mate): Irradiation, ultra-
sound, sterilisation, mechanical prepa-
ration, immersion in cleaning fluids.
