Cause
1. Battery pack is depleted.
2. Battery pack is not
installed properly.
3. Burned out switch.
1. Low battery.
1. Blade out of balance.
2. Workpiece not clamped or
supported properly.
1. Blade teeth are dull.
2. Foot is out of line or bent.
3. Blade is bent.
1. Dull blade with improper
tooth set.
2. Blade binds.
3. Improper workpiece
support.
1. Tool does not cut
workpiece.
Remedy
1. Charge the battery.
2. Confirm battery is properly
secured to the tool.
3. Have the switch replaced
by an Authorized SKIL
Service Center or Service
Station.
1. Recharge the battery pack
or use a fully charged
pack.
1. Discard blade and use a
different blade.
2. Clamp or support
workpiece properly
according to this manual.
1. Change to a new blade.
2. Have the tool repaired
by an Authorized SKIL
Service Center or Service
Station.
3. Change to a new blade.
1. Discard blade and use a
different blade.
2. Reassemble the blade
and tighten the washers
according to this manual.
3. Clamp or support
workpiece properly
according to this manual.
