6.3 Switching off the cooler
➤ Press the "OFF" button (2 3, page 3) on the control panel.
If you want to switch off the device, pull out the connection cable.
6.4 Use of the battery controller
If you should operate your ice box with a mains rectifier, switch off
the battery controller since the output voltage of the mains rectifier
can be below the restart voltage of the battery controller.
The battery controller protects your vehicle battery from too low a discharge
when connecting to the 12 volts on-board mains.
➤ Press the button on the control panel (2 6, page 3) to switch on the bat-
tery monitor.
✓ The battery monitor LED (2 7, page 3) glows and the battery monitor is
switched on.
The LEDs for the operating mode on the control panel (2 2 and 4, page 3)
show the status of the battery monitor:
Operating display
LED glows
LED flashes
Press the button on the control panel (2 6, page 3) to switch off the battery
monitor.
Operating mode
The switch-on voltage (13.1 V ±0.2 V) is present and
the cooler is in operation.
The switch-off voltage (11.7 V ±0.2 V) has been rea-
ched and the battery monitor has switched off the
cooler.
