6.2

Charging the battery

1 Insert the connector of the supplied
charger in the socket (1).
2 Connect charger to mains socket.
3 After fully charging the rechargeable
battery, disconnect the charger from the
mains socket.

6.3 Recharging the battery

If the "Akku" LED display lights up together with a sustained bleep, recharge the rechargeable
battery using the charger supplied with the unit (see chapter 6.2). You can continue using the unit
during charging, although the charging time required is lengthened as a result.
Never leave the Quasar 6 switched on with dead batteries!

Use

7.1

Starting up the unit

• When using on site, set up the
Quasar 6 according to the application.
• Use the adjustable unit baselegs to level the
unit. The setting can be checked using the cir-
cular bubble. The
Quasar 6 is correctly levelled if the air
bubble is located in the centre of the circle.
When you have finished using the
Quasar 6 , switch it off at the unit
switch. This automatically locks com-
pensator.
