36. Never touch metal parts of the power outlet of the
vehicle's electrical system, when the power outlet is
in use. The metal parts can be very hot – danger of
burning!
37. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet of the
vehicle's electrical system after use and before
cleaning. Never leave the appliance unattended
when the power plug is plugged in.
38. Caution: Unplug the plug of the electric kettle from
the power outlet of the vehicle's electrical system
and stow the appliance so that it is safe for transport,
before starting the vehicle.
Caution!
Do not open the lid while the water is boiling. If the
kettle is overfilled, boiling water can splash out.
Never open the housing of the appliance. This can
result in electric shock.
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or
incorrect use or if repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.
BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
1.
Remove all packaging materials and any transport safeguards.
Keep packaging materials away from children - danger of suf-
focation!
2.
Clean all parts with a damp cloth, as described in the chapter
"Cleaning and care".
3.
Open the lid. To do this, pull the lever on the top of the lid
upward, and take off the lid. Fill the appliance with fresh, cold
water.
4.
Fill with a minimum of 0.2 l and maximum of 0.5 l water.
5.
Ensure that the lid is closed correctly.
