7. To pour out water, press the
lever on the top of the lid
downwards.
8. If you want to boil water
again, please allow the
appliance to cool off for approx. 10 minutes.
9. The appliance features boil dry protection. When operated wit-
hout water or with excessive scaling, the appliance shuts off
automatically. If this happens, please allow the appliance to
cool off briefly before filling it with water again or descale the
appliance as described in the chapter "Descaling".
10. Always fill with fresh water for boiling and do not let any
unused water remain in the kettle for a longer period of time.
11. After use and automatic switch-off, unplug the plug from the
power outlet of the vehicle's electrical system.
CAUTION:
The appliance is very hot during and after operation!

CLEANING AND CARE

1. Do not immerse the base, power cord or kettle in water or other
liquids or wash them in the dishwasher.
2. Wipe off the base and the kettle with a damp cloth and a
little dishwashing detergent. Do not use any abrasive sponges,
scouring agents, steel wool, metal objects,
hot cleaning agents or disinfectants, because
these items can damage the appliance.
3. The kettle lid can be removed for easy
cleaning. To do this, pull the lever on the top
of the lid upward, and take off the lid.
Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning it.
Before cleaning, always turn off the appliance and
unplug it from the power outlet of the vehicle's
electrical system.
