Preparing your griddle
Before first use we reccomend that you season your griddle:
Hand Wash in warm soapy Water.
Dry it very well.
Put 2 Tablespoons of Vegetable oil (Sunflower) on your paper towel and rub it all over your griddle.
Do the same for the other side and don't forget the handle.
Place it upside down on rack 4 in the center of the oven and I put a cookie sheet on the lower
rack to catch the drippings.
Bake on 465 °F for 1 hour turn off your oven and leave it in the oven for another hour to cool. You
can leave it longer if you want. Then remove your griddle from the oven and wipe it down with a
towel. You are ready to grill
Positioning your griddle
Preheating your griddle
Preheat the griddle for a maximum of 4 minutes on HI before placing food onto it. Once the griddle
is preheated, turn the heat down to the cook setting outlined on the table corresponding to your
griddle.

The reversible cast iron griddle can only be used over the center burners
of the rangetop. Make sure the grid is correctly placed before you turn
on the burner.
