Automatic start
1. Open the fuel cock.
2. Loosen the throttle knob to place it in the START position (B)
and tighten to set it in that position.
3. Turn the key (C) clockwise START to turn on the equipment.
4. After the engine starts, release the key immediately.
Note: If you notice that when you turn the key the gear does
not engage, check the following:
1) Proper connection to the battery.
2) Battery with sufficient charge for starting.
Turn Off
• To turn off the engine, loosen the throttle knob to place it in
the STOP position (E), thus stopping the flow of fuel to the
injection pump.
CAUTION
• Do not close the fuel cock (A) for the
purpose of turning off the engine, this practice drains the fuel
line, which would make it difficult to quickly start the engine
again.
Oil change
CAUTION
• The first oil change must be done after
20 hours of operation; subsequent changes must be
made every 100 hours of operation.
• It is recommended to change the oil at the end of the
working day so that the engine is warm and facilitates the
flow of oil out of the system.
• The oil drain screw is located under the engine (G).
• Place a suitable container under the engine to receive
the oil, remove the drain screw and then the tank plug
(H). Once the oil is drained, replace the drain screw.
• Wipe up any spills or splashes.
• Fill the tank with SAE 10W-30 oil.
• Replace the plug without screwing it in and remove it to
check the oil level on the plug dipstick.
• When the oil level matches the mark on the dipstick,
tighten the plug to prevent leakage.
