TRAPP shredders, either single-phase or
three-phase, are assembled with dual voltage
motors. They leave factory without electric
wiring so customers can choose the one that
best suits their voltage needs. Follow the
cable connection indication as indicated in
the connection diagram on the engine plate.
For shredders sold without the motor, choose
minimum power according to technical data
under "Technical Characteristics".
For motors of power above 5 cv, the use of a
delta-star switch is recommended. The model
suggested is ETW (WEG Acionamentos) or of
similar type.
As the on/off switch is distant from the
shredder, install an emergency button in the
equipment in case immediate switching off is
necessary.
Supply
Avoid using gasoline stored for more than 7
days, as this causes malfunction decreasing
motor life.
Fill the tank being careful not to spill fuel.
Refuel only with plain (no additives) gasoline.
