Note: Test your Angelcare
and then periodically.
Step 1. Have someone else speak into the Nursery Unit or place
a radio near Nursery Unit. You should hear sound from the Parent
Unit. If there is no sound, refer to the Troubleshooting section.
If reception is not clear, switch to another channel (see
channel key in the Icon section).
Step 2. Verify that the battery mode is functional by operating the
Nursery Unit without the AC adaptors. The green Power light should
appear on the Nursery Unit and the digital screen should light up on
the Parent Unit.
Parent Unit: When the Low Battery indicator icon is almost clear,
place the unit on the charger.
Nursery Unit: When the green Low Battery indicator light flashes
replace batteries promptly. On the Parent Unit screen, the low
battery icon will flash and the nursery icon will appear.

Nursery Unit will be activated and transmit sounds to the Parent Unit only when
it captures sounds. The sensitivity dial allows controlling the level of sound
picked up and transmitted by the Nursery Unit.
Note: If the microphone sensitivity level on the Nursery Unit is set to maximum
(completely to the right), the unit will revert to continuous sound reception
instead of voice activated mode.
• STRANGULATION HAZARD. Keep the adapter cord out of the
reach of children. Because of the serious strangulation risk to
infants and toddlers, parents and caregivers should never
place the Nursery Unit within 3 feet (1 metre) of a crib.
• Make sure you DON'T put the Parent Unit near wireless devices
and microwave ovens. This may disrupt the transmission.
• ALWAYS place both units on a flat surface in an upright
position, away from baby's reach.
• Make sure to plug the adapter to the socket outlet nearest to
the equipment and that is easily accessible.
• DO NOT touch the end of the adapter cord when plugged into
an electrical outlet.

from other nursery monitors in your area. Your monitor may
even be picked up by other households. To protect your privacy,
