1 Operating Elements
and Connections
1.1 Microphone IRS-2..HT
1 IR transmitter
2 Power switch: keep pressed for a while;
the lighting colour will indicate the battery status:
green = sufficient; red = low
3 3.5 mm input jack to connect a tie clip / headband
microphone or a unit with line signal level (e. g.
MP3 player),
when the jack is connected, the internal micro-
phone will be deactivated
4 Mute button
lower position (MUTE) = sound off
upper position (TALK) = sound on
5 Inside the battery compartment: Switch to select
the IR transmission channel
Channel A (2.3 MHz), factory-set on IRS-200HT
Channel B (2.8 MHz), factory-set on IRS-202HT
6 Inside the battery compartment: Switch to select
the transmission power: HI or LOW
7 Latch of the battery compartment cover: to un -
lock the cover, push the latch towards the micro-
phone head
1.2 Sensor IRS-200IR
8 Bracket for wall / ceiling mounting via four drill
holes
9 F standard jack to connect one of the jacks
SENSOR (19) of the IRS-200R via the 10 m
cable provided
10 Locking screws to adjust the inclination angle
11 IR sensor
12 Power LED of the IR sensor (11)
1.3 Receiver IRS-200R
13 POWER switch of the receiver
14 On / off switch and volume control for the IR
transmission channel A
15 Status LED of channel A (red = channel acti-
vated, green = reception of IR signal)
16 Audio output signal LED: starts to light up when
the audio signal has reached a specific output
level, depending on the volume controls for
channel A (14) and channel B (18)

17 Status LED of channel B (red = channel acti-
vated, green = reception of IR signal)
18 On / off switch and volume control for the IR
transmission channel B
19 F standard jacks to connect up to two IR sen-
sors IRS-200IR
20 Audio output (via 6.3 mm mono jack) for con-
nection to a microphone input or line input of a
mixer or amplifier, adjust the output level with
the switch LOW/ HI accordingly
21 Selector switch for the output level of the jack
AF OUT (20)
LOW: low level for connection to a microphone
input or to a highly sensitive line input
HI:
high level for connection to a line input
22 Power supply jack for connection to the power
supply unit provided

2 Safety Notes

The units of this system correspond to all relevant
directives of the EU and are therefore marked

WARNING The power supply unit uses danger-
ous mains voltage. Leave servicing
to skilled personnel only. Inexpert
handling of the unit may result in
electric shock.
Please observe the following items in any case:

The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect
them against dripping water and splash water,
high air humidity and heat (admissible ambient
temperature range (0 – 40 °C).

Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on the
receiver, e. g. a drinking glass.
G
The heat generated inside the receiver must be
dissipated by air circulation; never cover the air
vents of the housing.
G
Do not operate the receiver and immediately dis-
connect the power supply unit from the socket
1. if the receiver or the power supply unit is visi-
bly damaged,
2. if a defect might have occurred after a unit was
dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the units must be repaired by skilled
personnel.

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals.

No guarantee claims for the units and no liability
for any resulting personal damage or material
