4) Test: click it to request to the Time Sync
Server and show the response at Sync
Result. The System Time will not be
modified by this function.
When the configuration is modified, click Test,
Gateway requests to the Time Sync Server for time
synchronization according to the configuration. If
the request is responded and returned, the result
will be shown at Sync Result, or the
synchronization is failure. See the following figure.
 Server Config: as the Time Sync Server,
Gateway provides time synchronization service
for other systems.
Other Configs
The user can perform Configuration Data Manage,
Security Manage and Certificate Manage in Other
Configs interface.
Vista 120 Gateway Instructions for use
Server Time Sync Port: the opened local port of
Gateway, to which other systems sends
synchronization request.
Click Refresh to refresh the current configuration
information. Click Save to save the current
modification. Gateway synchronizes time from the
configured time server at every time Gateway is
restarted.
CAUTION
As Vista 120 Gateway is a Time Sync Server, the
time synchronization function of the operation
system on which the Gateway resides must be
closed, or the time synchronization service of
Gateway is unavailable.
CAUTION
Gateway running depends on the operation
system time, thus modifying operation system
time may result in data confusion.
