ADVANCED APPLICATIONS / USB MEMORY STICK
Press and hold SETUP and OK together to access the
USB memory stick option menus. From here you can
import and export sounds to the nPad. Please note
that only EXFAT/FAT32/FAT formats are supported.
If your memory stick is not configured for this, you
can format it in the nPad, this is explained in the INFO
section (page 8). The nPad can only read files in the
root menu of your USB stick.
WAVE
Sound files you have saved in the root directory of
your USB stick will appear here. You need to import
them before previewing (explained below in the LOAD
section).
MIDI
A preview of MIDI file's data loaded in the nPad.
You can use the scroll wheel or +/- buttons to scroll
through the MIDI files. The MIDI files on your memory
stick will not be shown until you load them. You can
use the SELECT button to delete a MIDI file.
LOAD
For importing user sounds, kits and settings into
the nPad.
Press SELECT to scroll through the different settings
below and click OK to begin the importing process.
You will be shown a "yes or no option, press SELECT
to choose between them. YES will import the
selected files, NO will cancel the action.

Kit+Setting
Upload MIDI file data and kits (configured in the nPad
Wave Manager) from the USB stick to the nPad.
You can still edit the files once they are on the nPad.
User Kit
Upload user kits (configured in the nPad Wave
Manager) from the USB stick to the nPad.
nPad Wave Manager
You can also transfer your own sounds into the nPad
using the nPad Wave Manager, our free importing
software. It will be available for Windows™ and
MacOS™ operative systems. The maximum file
length is 6 minutes.

SAVE / BACKUP
For exporting preset kits, user settings and MIDI data
from the nPad onto a compatible USB memory stick.
Scroll through the different settings below and click
OK to begin the exporting process.
Pressing OK will give you a yes or no choice, YES will
export the selected files, NO will cancel the action.
Kit+Setting
Used to export preset drum kits and settings, and
MIDI data. It can be imported into another nPad
or kept as a backup.
NOTE
Only built-in sounds and kits can be exported.
