DISPLAY
Allows you to set the LCD Contrast and disable the
LEDs.
LCD Contrast
Sets the contrast of the LCD screen, from 0-20.
LED Switch
Turns the LEDs which illuminate when you hit a pad
on or off.
VERSION
Shows information relating to the software inside
the nPad.
SF
Version of built-in sounds.
FirmWare
Displays which version of the firmware is installed.
Syn Ver
Displays which version of the synthesiser software is
installed.
Detect
Displays which version of the detection algorithm is
installed.
RESET
Used to restore to factory settings. Press OK
to initiate this process, the nPad will restart
automatically after this has been completed.
Do not press any other buttons during this process.
UPDATE
If a firmware update is required, please go to our
website and download the "update.bin" file.
Add this to the root directory of your USB memory
stick. Then press OK when the update field is
highlighted. The firmware will be installed and the
nPad will restart.

Button Sub Menu
Allows you to record MIDI patterns within the nPad.
Pressing the REC button once will display the
following menu. The metronome will automatically
turn on, you can disengage it using the CLICK button.
START
Press the REC button again so the START icon
is highlighted, the nPad is now in RECORD MODE
and will capture the next notes played.
STOP
When the task is finished press the REC button again,
the STOP icon will be highlighted. The nPad is
now in STOP mode and will stop capturing your
performance.
Press OK button to save the recording.
This will save as a MIDI file internally on the nPad.
You will be able to load it from the KIT menu. This can
be played via the LOOP submenu explained on page 9.
Because it is a MIDI file, it will sound like the preset kit
that is currently active.
NOTE
You can record up to 5000 hits, the recording feature
will automatically stop after that. If you immediately
start to record a new performance without saving,
the original will be deleted. If you change to a different
function instead of saving the recording will be
deleted.
