Gives you access to more advanced editing features.
Pan
Controls the pan of the samples output, 0 = Fully Left,
64 = Center, 127 Fully Right.
PAD Mode
Changes the behaviour or function of a pad.
› Normal
Normal plays the sound of the pad once.
› Switch
A first hit will trigger the sound (switch ON), and a
second hit on the same pad will stop it (switch OFF).
Ideal for backing tracks and other sound effects.
› Loop*2, 4, 8
Repeats the loop the same amount of times shown
on the option. Ex., Loop*4 will loop a sound 4 times.
› Infinite
Repeats the loop Indefinitely.
Linked PAD
Link the sound of one pad to another. Allows you
to activate two pads at the same time. Ex. hit PAD1,
then go to Linked PAD option and select PAD6. Now,
hitting PAD1 activates PAD6 simultaneously.
Mute Group
Choose and select pads to create a Mute Group. Each
Mute Group will have an assigned number.
When pads are added to a Mute Group, any new hit
to a pad within that group will automatically stop the
sound of previous one in the same group.
You can create up to 9 Mute Groups and the pads can
be assigned to one Mute Group at a time.
NOTE
We suggest to disable the Link Pad function in those
pads which are part of a Mute Group in order to
achieve a full performance of this function.
User Manual
KITCHAIN
Used for creating a custom order of drum presets
according to your preferences. The nPad can support
5 Kitchains, allowing you to have 8 different kits in
each Kitchain. After it has been activated it will be
shown in the home screen (Ex. "KC1-01").
KITCH
Used to select which Kitchain you are editing. Select
between 1-5 or OFF. Selecting OFF will disable all
kitchains and the presets will be in their original order.
01-08
Selects which order the preset kit will go in,
01 is first, 08 is last. Once highlighted you can choose
which preset you want using the +/- BUTTON or
SCROLL wheel.
