The pilot light (5.1) will come on indicating that
the appliance is plugged in.
When the steam cleaner reaches the required
pressure, the pilot light (5.2) will go off indica-
ting that you can start to use it. This operation
will take approximately 5 minutes. During use,
the warning light will go off and then come on,
indicating that the steam cleaner is recovering
the necessary pressure.
To produce steam, slide the child lock (6) to the
left , and press the steam control (2)•
We recommend pressing the control (2) repea-
tedly for short bursts rather than just a few ti-
mes for longer periods, so as to maintain pres-
sure inside the boiler.
When you finish using the steam cleaner,
unplug it and wait for it to cool down before
removing the accessories.
ACCESSORIES
Tilted nozzle (12)
Attach the accessories on to the accessory
nozzle (4) (Fig.3).
Attachment for cleaning windows and fabrics
(13-14) (Fig.4, 5).
Use these accessories for cleaning floors, win-
dows, furniture, sofas, fabrics, and so on.
The cloth (1 ) can be used for cleaning delica-
te surfaces such as sofas and armchairs.
FILLING THE DETERGENT TANK
The detergent tank (8) can be filled by pressing
the release button (7) and removing the tank
Unscrew the cap and fill the tank with deter-
gent. Fill it only to the top section, do not over-
fill it.
Screw the cap back on and refit the tank on
to the bottom of the steam cleaner, as shown
in Fig. 6.
USING THE DETERGENT (OR HYDROALCO-
HOLIC GEL) FUNCTION
Slide the child lock (6) to the left, slide the de-
tergent button (9) downward, and press the
steam button (2) to discharge the detergent.
To stop discharging detergent, slide button (9)
back to its original position.
AFTER USING THE APPLIANCE:
Unplug the appliance from the mains.
Wait for the steam cleaner to cool down before
cleaning it.
Depress the steam control (2) to let all the
steam escape.
Unscrew the safety cap (3) slowly.
Drain the water from the reservoir by tilting the
appliance.
Flush out the tank to remove all traces of scale.
NEVER USE VINEGAR OR OTHER DESCA-
LING SUBSTANCES.
Clean the attachments with soapy water.
NEVER immerse the main body in water.
Store the steam cleaner in a cool dry place.
CLEANING
Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it
cool before performing any cleaning task.
Clean the appliance using a damp cloth with a
few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry it.
Do not use solvents or products with an acid or
base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products,
to clean the appliance.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any
other liquid, and do not put it under the tap.
TREATING LIMESCALE DEPOSITS
For the appliance to work correctly it should be
kept free of limescale or magnesium deposits
caused by using hard water.
CLEANING THE BOILER
Check that the appliance has cooled down
(wait at least 3 hours after unplugging the
appliance).
Do not force open the safety cap, make sure
the appliance is completely depressurized
prior to opening it.
Fill the boiler and add your chosen scale re-
mover.
Allow the product to act, following the instruc-
tions for use.
Shake it vigorously and empty it out comple-
tely.
If necessary, repeat the procedure.
