crossed bin symbol on the appliance or its packaging indicates that the product must
be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its useful life.
the user must therefore take the appliance to an appropriate recycling centre for
electrical and electronic equipment.
alternatively, instead of handling the disposal, the appliance can be handed over to
the retailer when a new, equivalent appliance is purchased.
retailers of electronic products having a sales area of at least 400 m2 can also be handed
electronic products that are to be disposed of measuring less than 25 cm, free of charge
and with no obligation to buy.
appropriate separate collection for the subsequent procedure for the decommissioned
appliance for recycling, which includes treatment and environmentally friendly disposal
helps prevent adverse effects on the environment and health and promotes reusing and/or
recycling materials that the appliance consists of.o.
DISPOSING OF THE BATTERIES
this product contains a rechargeable li-ion type battery.
warning:
Do not dispose of the batteries in domestic waste: they must be disposed of
separately.
•
Remove the batteries from the appliance.
•
Dispose of the batteries at a specific collection centre.
TAKINg THE BATTERY OUT
to remove the batteries loosen the screw of the battery cover (4) with a phillips screwdriver.
•
lift the Battery Cover (3) [Fig. g1].
•
extract the battery from the sweeper body by pulling it with the soft tab [Fig. g1].
•
Disconnect the battery with the two connectors.
WARNINg: Do not cut the battery cables for any reason. SHORT CIRCUIT
HAZARD.
Only disconnect it by using the connectors.
NOTE:
Do not plug the appliance back in to the socket once the batteries have been
removed.
• the dust collection system is full: empty the dust collection
compartment (11a).
• the filter is clogged: clean or replace the filter (11c).
• the filter is not fastened correctly: ensure the filter (11C)
is fitted correctly.
