Both the latest edition and other languages of these instructions for use can
be downloaded in the Technical Documentation database
(www.draeger.com/ifu).
The technical manual (order no. 9300160) can be downloaded in electronic
format from the technical documentation database ( www.draeger.com/ifu) in
selected languages.

Basic safety instructions
Before using this product, carefully read these instructions for use and those
of the associated products.
Only trained and competent personnel are permitted to inspect, repair and
service the product as detailed in the instructions for use and the technical
manual. Further maintenance work that is not detailed in these instructions
for use or the technical manual must only be carried out by Dräger or
personnel qualified by Dräger. Dräger recommend a Dräger service contract
for all maintenance activities.
Strictly follow the instructions for use. The user must fully understand and
strictly observe the instructions. Use the product only for the purposes
specified in the intended use section of this document.
Do not dispose of the instructions for use. Ensure that they are stored and
used appropriately by the user.
Only trained and competent users are permitted to use this product.
Comply with all local and national rules and regulations associated with this
product (e.g. IEC 60079-14).
Use only genuine Dräger spare parts and accessories. Otherwise, the
proper functioning of the product may be impaired.
Do not use a faulty or incomplete product. Do not modify the product.
Notify Dräger in the event of any component fault or failure.
Replacing components may impair the intrinsic safety of the product.
Electrical connections to devices which are not listed in these instructions
for use should only be made following consultation with the respective
manufacturers or an expert.

Devices or components for use in explosion-hazard areas which have been
tested and approved according to national, European or international explosion
protection regulations may only be used under the conditions specified in the
approval and with consideration of the relevant legal regulations. The devices or
components may not be modified in any manner. The use of faulty or
incomplete parts is forbidden. The appropriate regulations must be observed at
all times when carrying out repairs on these devices or components.
