4. Commissioning, operation
4.4 Connection of the model PEW-1000 to an LPWAN
The model PEW-1000 can be connected via LoRaWAN
For this, the model PEW-1000 is connected to a LoRaWAN
IIoT infrastructure (e.g. platform, PC, mobile device, etc.) at freely configurable intervals.
For the IIoT connection, all relevant data for registration and commissioning, as well as an interface specification for
further processing of the data are provided (see the additional documentation "Special documentation for LoRaWAN
communication specifications, model PEW-1000" on the WIKA website).
The deployment package includes the following registration information:
DevEUI (64-bit end device, unique identifier)

AppEUI (64-bit unique, application identifier)
■
AppKey (128-bit key)
■
Interface specification (see the additional documentation "Special documentation for LoRaWAN

specifications, model PEW-1000" on the WIKA website)
With a customer-specific integration, the payload integration must be carried out by the customer in accordance
with the additional documentation "Special documentation for LoRaWAN
model PEW-1000" on the WIKA website.
4.5 Alarm description
Three basic alarm types can be configured: Alarm limit, alarm limit with delay, pressure change.
These alarms can be set using the „myWIKA wireless device" app via Bluetooth
via the WIKA cloud.
For a customers own connection without a WIKA app or WIKA cloud, the „Special documentation for LoRaWAN
communication specifications, model PEW-1000" or „Special documentation for Bluetooth
specifications, model PEW-1200" must be observed.
A combination of alarm functions is possible, e.g. alarm limit for rising and falling pressure to define an operating
window for the application.
