∙ Attention! Never cover the
grill plate with aluminium
foil, barbecue dishes or
other items, as the resulting
heat build-up could cause
irreparable damage to the
grill!
∙ Do not put liquids in the
grill.
Warning! This
symbol indicates
that the grill plate and
heating element
temperature can get very
hot during use. Risk of
burns! Handle the grill plate
by the handles only and
always allow the grill to cool
down completely before
moving, cleaning or storing
it.
∙ Before cleaning, pull out
the mains plug and allow
the grill to cool down.
∙ For electrical safety
reasons, the main unit with
the control element and the
connecting cable must not
be treated with liquids or
immersed in them.
∙ Wipe the grill plate with
kitchen paper after use.
To remove persistent food
residues, clean the surface
of the grill plate with a soft,
damp sponge and a little
washing-up liquid. Do not
immerse the grill plate in
water.
∙ Allow the grill plate to dry
thoroughly. Ensure the grill
plate is perfectly dry before
resuming grill operation.
∙ Clean the draft shield
and fat collection tray in
the rinse water and dry
thoroughly.
∙ The draft shield is
dishwasher safe.
