Description
3.1
Equipment
The cutter is produced as a hand tool that can be operated by one person. This double-acting tool is
connected to the pump with two hoses. On the front of the tool there are two blades that make a scissor
movement. The high hydraulic pressure that is used means these tools can apply enormous forces.
By hanging the cutter in a balancing device from a suspension ring, you can alter the working height
and horizontal position without having to lift the tool. The carrying handle has two ball bearings that
allow the tool to be easily turned on its axis with the control handle.
The hydraulic system in the cutter is provided with a safety valve. This safety valve prevents excessive
pressure in the cutter if the return hose to the pump is blocked. Never change the setting of this
overpressure relief valve.
The ICU 20 ST/STH models are equipped with two-handed operation which prevents the operator from
putting a hand between the blades.
