LSS 84
This can be solved by lubricating with oil (a few drops), running the machine
for 5-10 seconds and wiping off excess oil with a cloth. Do this before longer
standstills.
Lubrication
The motor is lubricated using the built-in oil chamber in the motor casing. The
oil chamber is filled by pouring oil in the hole for the plug – the oil level should
not lie above the head of the screw upon topping up.
The oil supply is adjusted by the screw which must be slightly tightened if the
oil supply rate is too small. To check the oil supply, hold a piece of paper in
front of the exhaust holes in the motor casing while the motor is running. If the
oil supply rate is sufficient, oil stains will be formed on the paper.
Check daily before using the tool that the oil chamber is filled to the correct
level.
When making the regular overhaul of the tool, the throttle, governor and ball
bearings should be lubricated with grease.
The front ball bearing should be greased through the nipple at intervals of 20
work shifts if the tool is used with normal frequency.
Lubricating guide
Use lubricants of good quality. The oils and greases listed in the lubrication ta-
ble are examples of lubricants that can be recommended.
