6.2 Accessories for the bipolar operating mode
Bipolar instruments are connected to the electrosurgical unit using a 2-pin standard, 5-pin or Martin
plug.
A 5-pin plug is used for automatic detection of instruments. When the unit is connected with the
BiSeal bipolar coagulation forceps for laparoscopy, 80 W and the BiSeal mode will be automatically
set.
