When using the blower/vacuum cleaner, you must consider
some precautions and procedures of use, in order to avoid
accidents and damage to the machine, and increase its
efficiency:
▪ Ensure that you start the blower/vacuum cleaner at a
distance of more than 3m from the fuelling point;
▪ Let the engine run at idle speed for a few seconds before
start;
▪ To avoid engine damage due to overspeed, do not
obstruct the blower's end tube opening;
▪ Minimise dust by operating the blower/vacuum cleaner
at lower speeds and spray the blowing surface with water
when necessary;
▪ Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing;
▪ Stop the engine before putting down the blower/vacuum
cleaner.
1. Set the choke lever to "CLOSED" position. Move the
choke lever (16) until it stops on the left-hand side;
2. Press the carburettor primer bulb (12) several times until
the pump is full of petrol. Check that the fuel hose is full,
then the carburettor is filled with fuel;
3. Set the start/stop switch (5) to the "I" position;
4. Grab the blower/vacuum cleaner with one hand and pull
the recoil starter (13). Pull slowly until you feel some
resistance, then pull firmly until the engine starts;
5. A few seconds after starting, set the choke lever to "RUN"
position. Move the choke lever to the right side.
A few seconds after starting, set the choke lever to
"RUN" position. Move the choke lever to the bottom.
1. Release the throttle trigger (6) and move the start/stop
switch (5) to the "0" position.
In case of imminent danger or emergency, stop the engine
immediately. Put the start/stop switch to the "0" position.
The engine speed rotation is adjusted by means of the
throttle trigger (6).
1. If the throttle trigger is not pressed down, the engine
runs at idle speed;
2. With the throttle trigger fully pressed, the engine
reaches its maximum speed.
▪ Use lower speed when blowing dry leaves from
pavements, patios or roads;
▪ Use intermediate speed for blowing grass, turf, leaves or
flowers from a lawn;
▪ Maximum speed may be required to move wet leaves,
gravel, snow, bottles or cans from streets, car parks or
stadiums, for example.
Adjust the engine's rotation speed to the type of work you
are going to do. Remember, the higher the engine speed,
the louder the blower/vacuum cleaner will run and the
higher the fuel consumption.
