1 Identification
The ABICLEANER Signature set marking set is used to mark stainless steel surfaces. These operating
instructions describe only the ABICLEANER Signature set marking set. To use the marking set, an
electrochemical cleaning and polishing device belonging to the ABICLEANER series is required.
The marking set may be operated only with original ABICOR BINZEL spare parts.
2 Safety
► Please read the documentation carefully before using the product for the first time and comply with
the instructions contained.
► Please read the documentation for the ABICLEANER electrochemical cleaning and polishing device
carefully and follow the instructions.
2.1 Safety instructions for chemical substances
► Observe the ABICLEANER Signature Fluid safety data sheet.
► If the ABICLEANER Signature Fluid gets into your eyes, flush them immediately with plenty of water and
see an eye doctor right away.
2.2 Emergency information
► In the event of an emergency, immediately disconnect the following supplies:
— electrical power supply.
3 Product description
A stencil is placed on the surface to be marked. The ABICLEANER Signature Fluid reacts with the workpiece
when it makes contact with the marking stamp. The process is intended only for stainless steel. The stencils
are not included in the scope of delivery.
3.1 Stencils
The motif to be marked must first be printed on a disposable stencil or reusable stencil. Appropriate marking
devices as well as accessories for disposable stencils or ready-made reusable stencils are available from
specialty retailers. We recommend stencils and accessories made by the company DIMATRON GmbH
(www.dimatron.com). You can send inquiries to sales@dimatron.com.
4 Putting into operation
Place the marking felt over the carbon electrode on the marking stamp and secure it with an O-ring

(Fig. 2).
Insert the connecting cable's safety plug into the marking stamp's socket (Fig. 3).

Insert the marking stamp's high-current plug into the black high-current socket for the cleaning and

polishing device until it clicks (Fig. 3).
