ABICLEANER Signature set
5 Operation
Attach the ground clamp to the workpiece. Ensure good contact and a tight fit. If required, clean the point

of contact beforehand.
Remove impurities and grease from the area to be marked on the workpiece.

Wet the stencil with ABICLEANER Signature Fluid and position it on the workpiece.

Press the power switch to switch on the cleaning and polishing device.

Set the function switch to <Clean> (ABICLEANER with polishing function only).

Wet the marking felt with ABICLEANER Signature Fluid completely (Fig. 4).

Press the marking stamp downward onto the stencil and glide it over the stencil with slight pressure

(Fig. 5).
Remove the stencil from the workpiece and rinse it immediately with water from a spray bottle.

Dry the workpiece with clean paper towels.

To prevent corrosion on the marking, rinse the marked surface immediately with distilled or demineralized

water and clean it with clean paper towels.
6 Decommissioning
Press the power switch to switch off the cleaning and polishing device.

Disconnect the ground clamp from the workpiece.

Pull the marking stamp's high-current plug out of the black high-current socket for the cleaning and

polishing unit.
Pull the connecting cable's safety plug out of the socket of the marking stamp.

7 Maintenance and cleaning
► Order the equipment parts and wear parts separately.
► Use only original ABICOR BINZEL wear parts.
► The order data and ID numbers for the equipment parts and wear parts can be found in the current
catalog.
7.1 Replacing the marking felt
► When the marking felt is dark, attach new marking felt to the carbon electrode (Fig. 2).
