Use the external battery pack

Chemical exposure hazard. Dispose of chemicals and wastes in accordance with local, regional and
national regulations.
A fully-charged battery pack supplies power to the portable incubator for 8 to 12 hours at ambient
temperature. Colder temperatures decrease the battery life. For remote locations, it is necessary to
have several charged batteries to supply power for the complete incubation period.
Use these factors to determine the number of batteries to use in remote locations:
• The incubation time(s) for the test(s)
• The temperature at the location where the incubator will be used
• If a power source is available to charge the batteries
• The time that is necessary to fully charge the batteries
1. Fully charge the battery pack:
a. Connect the battery pack to power
b. Keep the battery pack connected to power for 24 hours.
2. Connect the battery pack to the incubator:
a. Disconnect the power charger connector from the battery pack
b. Connect the battery pack to the incubator.
