Important: Multimedia message objects may contain viruses or
otherwise be harmful to your device or PC. Do not open any attachment if
you are not sure of the trustworthiness of the sender.
Delete messages
To delete a text or multimedia message that you are reading or viewing,
select Options > Delete.
•
To delete all messages from a folder or all the folders, select Menu >
Messages > Text messages or Multimedia msgs. > Delete messages.
•
To delete all the messages from a folder, select the desired folder and OK.
•
To delete all the messages from all the text message folders, select All
messages > OK.
Info message service
With this network service, you can receive messages on various topics from the
network. For details, contact your service provider.
Voice messages
Voice mailbox is a network service. For more information, and to receive your
voice mailbox number, contact your service provider.
Select Menu > Messages > Voice messages. Select Voice mailbox number to
save the number of your voice mailbox or Listen to voice messages to call it.
To quickly call your voice mailbox in the standby mode, press and hold 1.
When you have received a voice message,
display (network service). Select Listen to call your voice mailbox.
Message settings
Text and e-mail messages
Select Messages > Message settings > Text messages > Sending profile, the
sending profile you want to change, and one of the following:
Message center number—Save the phone number needed for sending text and
picture messages. You obtain this number from your service provider.
Messages sent as—Choose the message type: Text, E-mail, Paging or Fax
(network service).
Message validity—Choose how long the network should attempt to deliver
your message to its recipient (network service).
Default recipient number—Save a phone number where messages are sent by
default when this sending profile is used. This setting is shown when the
Messages sent via setting is Text.
