Window opening detector
In manual mode, press the
button and the
icon will appear on
the screen, flashing. The appliance will stop if a window opening is
detected. The
icon will continue to flash to warn the user that the
window should be closed.
Open windows are detected as follows:
1. When the thermostat detects a sudden drop in temperature, the
internal programme starts to count down. If the temperature drops by
around 5°C in less than 10 minutes, it means that a window is open.
2. If the temperature rises again, the appliance stops counting and
resets to zero. If a further drop in temperature is detected, the count-
down starts again.
3. When the ambient temperature is higher than the set temperature:
the appliance does not heat up. Under these conditions, the window
opening sensor cannot operate. In the event of a drop in temperature,
the countdown will only start when the room temperature falls below
the set temperature.
To deactivate the "Window opening detector" mode, press the
button.
Cleaning the filter:
The filter becomes dirty during use. After approximately 150 hours of
use, or as soon as visible signs of dirt appear, it should be cleaned.
Switch off the appliance using the on/off switch (O/I), then remove
the filter from the back of the appliance. Clean the filter directly under
water. Do not use caustic or abrasive substances during cleaning, as
this may damage the filter. Then leave the filter to dry on its own.
Then refit the filter along the reference line (see diagram below).
Push the filter in until it cannot move.
