• Clean the appliance after each use.
• Always unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down before cleaning or repairing it.
• To clean the external surface of the oven, only use a damp cloth. Never immerse the appli-
ance in water or other liquids.
• Don't use metallic utensils, oil, water or abrasive cleaning materials as this can damage the

STONE CLEANING
1. Make sure the stone is completely cool before attempting to clean it. Otherwise, you could
get burned.
2. If you have to handle it while it's still hot, wear heat-resistant gloves to avoid burning your-
self. Also, make sure the surface you place it on is heat resistant.
3. Using a blunt tool, scrape or brush away any stuck-on food. You can use a stone brush or
plastic spatula to remove any embedded bits of food.
Warning: Never use soap to clean the pizza stone, doing so could damage the stone as the
stones are porous, the soap could get into the pores and leave a soapy taste on the food.
4. Clean the stone with a damp cloth if necessary. Moisten the rag with warm water and wipe
the stone down thoroughly before using it again.
5. Burnt or sticky food may need to be soaked after baking to soften it. In that case, leave the
stone soaking overnight in clean water and try cleaning it again the next day. Please note
that the stone will absorb some water, please allow it to dry completely for about a week.

6. Avoid using oils of any kind on the stone. Olive oil or any other type of fat can create smoke
when baking food as the pores in the stone could absorb oil inside.
