10. Malfunctions

If the paper shredder does not work properly, please check the following points before contacting our
customer service:
– Are voltage and frequency according to the data
on the name plate?
– Is mains plug inserted?
– Is main switch switched on?
– Are all electrical fuses in order?
– Is the front door closed?
– Is cut material bag full?
– Is there a paper jam in the shredder?
– Is the motor overloaded?
Paper jam (too much paper fed)
Red LED on membrane keyboard lights
• Motor reverses automatically and stops again after a few seconds.
Caution!
Injuries by cutting rollers are possible even when the paper shredder is idle.
Keep hands away from the cutting system when running!
Always wear protective gloves.
• Open the funnel flap and clear the paper jam.
If material is not completely pushed out, then
• Close the funnel flap again
• Press the reversing arrow button
• Remove the paper from the funnel flap
• Press the green arrow button
• Separate paper stack and feed paper again
Caution!
Do not press the pushbuttons "Forwards - Backwards" alternately to clear paper jam.
This will damage the paper shredder.
Electric motor overloaded
Red LED on membrane keyboard lights
• motor stops automatically
• allow motor to cool down approx. 15 - 20 min.
• Press the green arrow button
