5.4. Assembly
Step Description
Check whether all the parts required for
1 assembly have been supplied (see Section 1.2
for a list of the supplied parts).
Transport the slab roller to the operating
location. The slab roller is heavy. Therefore, lift

and assemble the device with two, or better
yet, four people.
3 If not pre-installed at the factory: Install 1 M6
screw in each of the 4 table legs using the
6 mm Allen key provided. Tighten the screws a
little. These later serve as stops when pushing
the table legs into the table frame.
With the help of other people, tip the slab roller
4 and push the 4 table legs into the table frame
as far as they will go.
5 Tighten the 4 fastening screws of the 4 table
legs with the supplied 8 mm Allen key.
Torque = 10 Nm
With the help of other people, place the device

on the table legs.
Remove the protective film around the stub

shaft if you have not already done so.
8 To attach the large wheel handle, remove the
Allen screw and the washer from the end of
the stub shaft using the 8 mm Allen key
provided.
Slide the large wheel handle onto the stub
9 shaft so that the keyway in the wheel handle
bore and the key on the stub shaft engage.
10 On the large wheel handle, remount the Allen
screw with the washer on the front side of the
axis and tighten it with the supplied 8 mm
Allen key. Hold the wheel handle with one
hand while tightening.
Torque = 12 Nm
Seal the screw hole on the front with the blind

plug provided.
