⇒ The slab roller must be positioned with the side with the large wheel handle close to the table's edge. This
is the only way to turn the large wheel handle properly.
Attention:

The device must stand securely and stably on the tabletop!

If necessary, fix the slab roller on the tabletop with 4 robust battens on all sides. You can fix the
battens either with screw clamps/one-handed clamps or by screwing them to the table.
6.2. Operation & use
6.2.1. Setting scale
Scale Description
Vertical Adjustment of the roller height in 1 cm increments.
values Scale: 1–9 (cm).
Horizontal Fine adjustment of the roller height in 0.2 cm
values increments. Scale: 0.2–0.8 (cm).

The set roller height (distance between the roller and

Note:
The crank can be folded into the recess in the adjustment wheel by pulling it up.
6.2.2. Operation
Step Description
1 Unpack the clay body (slab).
Lay the slab on the linen cloth on the worktop
and then lay the other cloth over it.
Attention:

Only roll out one standard slab per rolling
operation (clay body with a maximum of 10–
12.5 kg).
Adjust the roller height for sheeting uniformly

on both sides.
Reduce the distance between the roller and

the worktop by a maximum of 3 cm per pass.
Roll out the clay body continuously by
5
operating the large wheel handle.
Slowly turn the large wheel handle back again
6 to continue rolling out the clay body in the next
step.
Remark
You can reorder replacements for damaged or worn
linen cloths at any time. (ROHDE item no.: 657080)
Change the height of the adjustment wheels on both
sides in increments of no more than 0.4 cm so the
roller guide does not jam.
Unequal roller heights (right and left) can damage
the roller bearings and the roller slide.
Turn the wheel handle slowly, evenly and without
stopping.
