Description
Move the roller back and forth several times to
7
obtain an even rolling result.
If desired, adjust the roller height down one
level and roll to the next level.
8
Repeat the steps until the clay slab has
9
reached the desired thickness.

Cleaning
7.1.
General safety information
CAUTION
Risk of property damage!
Do not scrape off dried clay with metal objects. This will damage the device and may
render it unusable.
7.2.
General description
Follow the cleaning instructions below. These are considered prerequisites for perfect functioning and the long
service life of the slab roller. Clean the device at least once a week.
7.3.
Notes on linen cloth
⇒ Intensive wet cleaning of the linen cloths is not intended and will damage their impregnation.
⇒ Replacement linen cloths can be reordered at any time from your local specialist (ROHDE item no.:
657080).
⇒ It is best to clean the device immediately after each use or at least once a week.
⇒ Remove dirt with a clean, dry cloth.
Remark
Alternative:
Rotate the clay body from bottom to top or 90° left
or right before the next rolling stage. The more often
you turn the clay body in each direction, the more
even the rolling result of the clay slab will be.
However, this is only recommended to a limited
extent because the slab can easily break apart
when turning and moving it or can even tear later in
the kiln.
The clay body has to be brought to the desired
thickness in several rolling operations.
