Step
Description
Screw 1 crank into each of the 2 black
adjustment wheels to adjust the roller height
and tighten them slightly without tools.
12
Note:
The crank can be folded into the recess in the
adjustment wheel by pulling it up.
13
On the front of the work surface, loosen the 7
screws on the retaining bar for fixing the linen
cloth with the 8 mm Allen key provided.
Remove the protective film around the stub
shaft if you have not already done so.
Insert the supplied linen cloth into the retaining
14
bar.
15
Slightly tighten the 7 screws for the linen cloth
retaining bar so that the linen cloth is evenly
clamped.
16
Remove the transport lock (see Section 5.6).
5.5.
Aligning the slab roller
Use a spirit level to check that the slab roller is level. If the slab roller is not level, the metal frame can warp and
damage the roller and guide bearings. The output can also be significantly negatively influenced (uneven thickness
of the clay slabs).
5.6.
Transport safety
Step
Releasing the
transport lock
Installing the
transport lock
Tip:
When used in teaching and educational institutions, schools and kindergartens, the slab roller can be secured
against unauthorised use by screwing in the wing screw (transport lock).
Description
Loosen and remove the red wing screw
from the shipping lock near the large
wheel handle. The roller drive should
now move freely.
Note:
Keep the wing screw safe from loss.
Be sure to reassemble the wing screw
(transport lock) before transporting the
device again or moving it to a different
operating location. Otherwise, there is a
risk of injury from the moving roller.
