Making Coffee with a Preset Time
To make coffee with a preset time, the clock needs to be set (see the "Handling and Opera-
tion" chapter – "Time").
1. Prepare the coffee machine (see the previous chapter).
2. Touch the field AUTO (16) for approx. 2 –3 seconds, the time indicator (13) and the
indicator (12) on the display flash.
3. Use the TIMER field (14) to set first the hour and then the minute of the start time you want
(see the "Handling and Operation" chapter – "Time") and confirm this entry by touching the
field AUTO. The indicator
Once the preset time is reached, the device switches on automatically. The indicator

Deactivating the Preset Time
To deactivate the preset time, touch the AUTO field (16) . The set time is displayed and the
indicator (12) flashes. Touch the AUTO field again for approx. 2 – 3 seconds, the indicator
goes out and the programming is deactivated. However, the preset time is retained and can be
reactivated at any time until a new preset time is programmed in or the device has been discon-
nected from the power supply.
Cleaning and Care
PLEASE NOTE!
• Do not use any toxic, corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or scouring sponges to clean
the device. These may damage the surfaces.
1. Dispose of the coffee filter and if necessary empty the thermal jug (4).
2. Clean the filter insert (5) and the thermal jug after every use with detergent and warm water,
or in the dishwasher.
Please Note! The thermal jug must not be cleaned in the dishwasher!
3. Wipe down the inside and outside of the housing with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a little
detergent to remove more intense soiling.
4. Check the connecting cable regularly for any damage.
