12 SAFETY
12.1 Intended use
The machine may be, safety and danger, and only in perfect working condition for its intended
purpose! Disorders, which may affect the safety must be rectified immediately!
It is generally prohibited to modify safety equipment of the machine or to make ineffective!
The person operating the machine must operate standing from the front.
The single-raw multi-boring machine DBM 21N is used exclusively for drilling dowel holes in wood
materials.
The machine is intended for the work under the following conditions:

Height above sea level
The machine is not intended for outdoor use.
The machine is not designed for operation in potentially hazardous conditions.
12.2 Intended Use
• The operation of the machine under conditions outside the above limits is not permitted.
• The operation of the machine without the proposed protective devices is not permitted;
• dismantling or disable the protective devices is prohibited.
• It is not permitted the operation of the machine with materials that are not expressly stated in
this manual.
