► Remove the screw (2).
► Position the control handle (1) on the handle‐
bar (6), trigger facing the gear housing, and
line up the hole in the control handle with the
hole in the handlebar. When doing so, do not
twist the operating handle (1).
► Fit the nut (3).
► Insert and tighten the screw (2) securely.
► Position the throttle cable retainer (5) and the
throttle cable (4) on the shaft.
The throttle cable (4) must not be kinked or
too tightly constricted – make sure the throttle
trigger moves freely.
► Press the throttle cable retainer (5) together.
The throttle cable retainer (5) engages in posi‐
tion with an audible click.
It is not necessary to remove the bike handle
again.

► Shut off the engine.

► Place the deflector (1) on the gear housing.
► Insert the screws (2) and tighten them
securely.

Removing the Deflector
► Shut off the engine.
► Take out screws.
► Remove guard.

► Shut off the engine.

► Slide the guide slot in the skirt (2) onto the
deflector (1) – it must snap into position.
► Push the line limiting blade (3) into the slot in
the skirt (2).
► Insert and tighten down the screw (4) firmly.

Removing the Skirt
► Shut off the engine.

► Depress the locking tab (1) and remove the
skirt (2).
The line limiting blade can be left on the skirt (2).
