Installing a paper roll

Precaution: The paper cutter is mounted on the printer cover. Take caution when removing and

Install the paper roll according to the procedure shown below with the AC cord connected and the mode switch
set to the REG position:

Make sure the printer head release lever is positioned as illustrated at the

Cut off approximately one revolution of the paper roll. Make sure
the paper end is cut as illustrated at the right.

Set the paper in paper roll cradle as illustrated at
the right.

Insert the end of the paper into the printer until it is caught by the printer
auto-feed and comes out of the printer at the top. If the printer does not
catch the paper, feed the paper while pressing the
