PROBLEM
PROBLEM CAUSE
Brake does not stop the blade
within 6 seconds.
Motor does not start.
Brush spark when switch is
released.
1. Motor brushes not sealed
or lightly sticking.
2. Motor brake overheated from
use of defective or wrong size
blade or rapid ON/OFF cycling.
3. Loose arbor bolt.
4. Brushes cracked or otherwise
damaged.

tripped on home panel.

1. Inspect/clean/replace
