9 Attach the safety straps by overlapping the two
belts (1) and inserting the metal hooks into the
crotch strap buckle until it clicks (2).

10 Fasten the harness clips over the child's chest
combining the two parts as shown in the
picture.
The clip has two settings:
2 : for older children
1: for younger children.
11 If necessary, the harness Clip can be removed
following the steps shown in the picture.
12 Tighten the buckles by pulling the adjustment
strap towards you, making sure they fit well
against your child's body at every point and that
the clip is at the height of the sternum.
CAUTION: Do not over-tighten the straps,
and ensure you leave minimum slack.
13 When you have completed the fastening
operation, check the tension in each part of the
harness is correct (1-2-3-4-5). Check the shoulder
pads are resting firmly on your child's body.
Check that straps 2 and 5 are in the lower
position and over the child's hips.
14 To slacken the harness, insert a finger through
the seat opening (1), keep the metal button
pressed, and with the other hand pull on the
straps (2).
IMPORTANT! In the winter, do not dress your

child in bulky clothing before strapping him/
her into the car seat. Do not position blankets
between your child's body and the safety belts.
This could cause incorrect positioning of the
safety harness, with serious consequences in the

accessory to protect your child from the
weather.
16 This car seat has a booster cushion for smaller
children. Do not use it for children who are
taller than 75 cm.
To remove the booster cushion, unfasten and
widen the safety belts and slide the crotch strap
through it without removing the central buckle.
