8. Connecting headphones
You will find a 3.5-mm headphone socket
Insert headphones with a 3.5-mm jack plug into the headphone socket.
When headphones are connected, the speakers are disabled. The volume can still be
controlled to change the headphone volume.
WARNING!
Risk of hearing damage!
To prevent possible damage to or loss of hearing, avoid
listening at high volume over long periods of time.
Before pressing play, set the volume to the lowest
setting.
Start playback and increase the volume to a comfort-
able level.
9. Connecting microphones
The device has two 6.3-mm jack connections for microphones. You can play back
the sound from the microphones individually via the speakers or in addition to CD,
radio or cassette media as well as storage device playback.
Plug a microphone with a 6.3-mm jack connection into the microphone input
MIC1 or MIC2.
You can control the volume of the microphones using the MIC VOL controller.
You can also add an echo effect using the ECHO controller.
The sound from the microphones is not used when making recordings to cassettes
or USB/MicroSD storage devices.
