 Ensure that the cord does not come into contact with hot parts and that it is not
subjected to excessive bending or kinking.
 Rub the hot plates with a sheet of paper towel soaked in a tablespoon of vegetable oil,
then remove any excess oil with a clean sheet of paper towel.
 Start heating at the maximum power, turning the selector switch (6) fully to the right,
with the appliance completely empty, i.e. with no food inside. This process helps the
spontaneous removal of protective substances from the internal parts and makes it
possible to check for any factory defects. A slight smoke or odour may occur as a result
during this operation: this is neither critical nor evidence of malfunctioning and will
resolve itself spontaneously.
 After five minutes, stop operation by turning the selector switch (6) fully to the left,
check the general integrity of the appliance and wait for it to fully cool. You can now
carry out the normal cooking operations.

USING THE APPLIANCE
PREPARATION:
Check that the hot plates are properly installed, then check that the power selector (6)
is in the central position (halfway between MIN and MAX); close the hot plates and
connect the power cord to the wall socket. The front indicator lights will turn on
indicating that the electrical connection has been properly made (red indicator light) and
that heating has begun (green indicator light). Turn the power selector (6) as far right as
the desired hot plate temperature based on the desired doneness and according to
personal taste. Depending on the selected temperature, heating is completed within 3
to 5 minutes, after which the green indicator light turns off indicating that the appliance
is ready for cooking.
USE AS A CONTACT GRILL:
Select the ideal temperature for the desired doneness. It is useful to set the
maximum power at the start and then adjust the temperature depending on
the initial results.
Prepare the food you wish to cook, open the cooking compartment by lifting
the lid from the handle and place the food directly in contact with the bottom
hot plate.
Close the cooking compartment by lowering the lid from the handle, exerting
moderate pressure so that the typical grill marks form on the food.
During cooking, periodically check that the grease tray located at the rear does
not overflow; if so, empty it between cooking sessions.
