At the end of cooking, lift the lid from the handle and use a spatula made of a
special material to remove the cooked food. Do not use metal or sharp tools to
avoid damaging the hot plate coating.
USE AS AN OPEN GRILL:

Check that the available surface behind the appliance is equal to at least the
depth of the appliance; if necessary, place the appliance on another surface
with enough space at the rear.

Locate the top hot plate release lever
along the edge of the handle, on the
right-hand side, then holding it
towards the front, fully open the top
hot plate until it is firmly rested on the
support surface, thus creating a flat
surface at exactly the same level as the
bottom hot plate.

Select the ideal temperature for the
desired doneness. It is useful to set a medium power level at the start and then
adjust the temperature depending on the initial results.

Prepare the food you wish to cook, then lay it directly on the hot plate.

During cooking, periodically check that the grease tray located at the rear does
not overflow; if so, empty it between cooking sessions.

At the end of cooking, use a spatula made of a special material to remove the

To restore the appliance's original configuration, close the top grill by grabbing
the handle and bringing it back into the original position; this will cause the
release lever to latch and reset, making it necessary to operate the lever again
if you wish to re-use the appliance as an open grill.
REMOVING THE HOT PLATES:

Always disconnect the appliance from the mains and wait for it to fully cool
before removing the hot plates, thus facilitating cleaning by allowing them to
be fully submerged for more effective washing.

The hot plates are easier to remove if the appliance is configured for open
cooking: Proceed as explained above to configure them.

Locate the hot plate release buttons as shown in the figure; they are found at
the front and back along the edge of the hot plate.
