Move the buttons in the direction of the arrow: the hot plates will snap
upwards, making it possible to grab them from the sides with two hands; do
not lift them, rather slide them frontwards to extract them from the rear
guides.

To refit the hot plates, insert the rear edge into the guides, then press on the
hot plates along the front edge until you hear them click in.
FURTHER INFORMATION FOR OPTIMAL USE:

Contact cooking is suitable for hamburgers, boneless cuts, escalopes and thinly
sliced vegetables

At a moderate temperature, contact cooking is also suitable for heating
sandwiches and bread.

In the case of contact cooking, the appliance is equipped with a special hinge
allowing the top hot plate to be perfectly laid, even on cuts of meat with irregular
thickness; this allows faster and more efficient cooking, ensuring both sides of
the food are simultaneously cooked.

For the contact cooking of hamburgers, placing the food along the rear edge of
the hot plate gives better results.

Open cooking is also suitable for hamburgers but is most appropriate for steaks
and poultry.

The open grill is particularly suitable for cooking different types of meat together,
effectively preventing any alterations to the original flavours due to the cooking
liquids being mixed.

Open-grill cooking provides the advantage of doubling the cooking surface but
may require the food to be periodically turned to ensure even cooking.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The product does not require maintenance, or rather the replacement of consumable
parts or scheduled overhaul. As a rule, it is sufficient to regularly clean the grease tray
and hot plates, which can easily be removed as explained above, hand-washing them
exactly as if they were normal dishware. When treating the hot plates, strictly avoid
