3. Place the ring on the inner ring of the bearing. Make sure the ring is resting flat
on the surface.
4. Fully unscrew the spindle and screw it in again from the other side.
5. Fit the jaws on the cross-beam one at a time.
6. The pulling jaws can be easily fitted on the cross-beam with a 90° rotation.
7. Insert the jaws in the tracks of the bearing.
8. Remove the interchangeable spindle tip and tension the puller using the small
wrench flat on the spindle.
9. Screw the adapter onto the spindle.
10. Then screw the slide hammer onto the adapter. You can use the practical hand
grip (G-22) on the slide hammer to do so.
11. Remove the bearing by knocking the weight toward the hand grip. Note: The
jaws may loosen slightly during hammering. If they do, retension the spindle.
12. The bearing has been successfully removed.
