When the heater is plugged in, you should keep the following
standards in mind:
- Read these instructions thoroughly before
using this heater.
- Make sure that the heater voltage is
compatible with the voltage of the socket to
which the heater will be connected.
- Do not cover the heater during operation,
as this would cause a dangerous increase in
temperature.
- The heater becomes hot during operation.
Avoid touching it to avoid burning yourself.
Use the handles to transport the heater.
Keep a distance of 90 cm between the heater
and possible flammable materials, such as:
furniture, pillows, sheets, paper, clothes and
curtains. The heater must not be positioned
immediately below an electrical outlet.
- This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children), with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities, or
by persons with a lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been instructed
to use the appliance or are under the
supervision of a person responsible for your
safety
- Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the heater.
- Remove the plug from the outlet when the
heater is not in use.
- Do not switch on the heater if the power
cord, plug or wall outlet is damaged, or if
the heater has been dented anywhere or has
malfunctioned.
If the heater is leaking oil, do not use it and go
to the authorized technical assistance for an
evaluation.
- Do not leave the heater exposed to
atmospheric agents and do not use it
outdoors.
- This heater cannot be used in environments
such as: bathrooms, laundry rooms and
other closed rooms that have similar
characteristics. Do not place the heater in
humid environments with water splashes.
- Do not run the electric cord under carpeting.
The cable must always be in view and must
not be covered in any way. Place the cable
away from the circulation areas to avoid
accidents.
- To turn the heater off, set the controls to "OFF"
and remove the heater plug from the wall
outlet
- Connect the 1500W heater only to 15 amp
sockets.
- Do not place objects in the ventilation
openings, as they could cause electric shock,
fire or damage to the heater.
- To prevent the risk of fire, never obstruct the
air inlet or outlet openings.
Do not place the heater on soft surfaces, (for
example, beds) where the openings could be
blocked.
- The heater has parts inside it that become
hot. For this reason, it should never be used in
places where there are flammable products,
such as: gasoline, paint or other flammable
liquids.
- Use the heater only as described in this
instruction manual. Any other use should be
considered improper and dangerous.
- To prevent current overload, make sure that
no other device is connected to the same
outlet or the same network.
- It is normal for the heater plug and electric
cable to heat up slightly during use.
- The use of extensions and multisockets
adapters is not recommended, as they are
unsuitable and could damage the heater if it
overheats and, consequently, could cause fire.
However, if it is necessary to use an extension
cord, the cable (wire) must have a minimum
size of 14 AWG and at least a capacity of 1875
watts and be used exclusively for this heater.
