Operation
Cooking zone
When the electronic sensor system is activated,
the cooking power can be controlled.
Switching on
► The desired cooking zone is switched on by
pressing Ɠ or ƒ. When the Ɠ button is
pressed, the power level 5 is switched on and
when the ƒ button is pressed, the level 9. The
power level is changed by pressing Ɠ or ƒ
again.
1 = lowest power
9 = maximum power (2400 Watt)
P = high power level (3000 Watt)
By pressing the Ɠ button one can switch up
to power level 9. Switching further to level 0
is not possible.
By pressing the ƒ button one can switch up
to power level 0. Switching further to level 9
is possible.
Power levels
The high performance of induction stoves causes
the cooking pot to heat up very quickly. In order to
avoid burning the food, it is necessary to select the
power level differently from how one would choose
it with a conventional cooking system.
The pieces of information given in the following
table are approximate values.
It is recommended to reduce or increase the
power level depending on the quantity.
Recommended
settings:
Melting of butter and chocolate,
keeping dishes warm
Heating up food
Roasting food
Fast roasting of food, roasting of
larger amounts
Switching off the cooking zone
► After using a cooking zone, switch this cooking
zone off by switching down through the power
levels to 0 or by pressing the Ɠ and ƒ button
at this cooking zone at the same time.

Pot detection
The cooking zone is equipped with a pot detection
function. The cooking zone can only be turned on if
suitable magnetisable pots and pans are deposited
on the cooking zone.
■ If the pot or pan is removed from the cooking
zone during operation, the energy transfer is
interrupted and the display indicates v.
■ If an unsuitable or too small pot is placed on the
cooking zone, v is indicated on the display.
After the elapsing of 10 minutes without a pot
being detected, the cooking zone switches off
automatically and can only be switched back on
again after the appliance has been switched off
and on again with the Ɣ button.

residual heat. After sufficient cooling-down
this display disappears as well.
Make sure that the wok has the same calotte
radius as the glass ceramic cooking zone
which is 210 mm.
